An online support group for parents of children who have been diagnosed with low muscle tone (hypotonia). The conversations held in this group are opinions and personal experiences of group members, and are not be confused with medical advice from your doctor.

A place for parents of infants/children with feeding disorders, Failure to Thrive and GERD to offer eachother support and advice. Many of us mom's also have kiddos with feeding tubes or are in the process of weaning.
The majority of children with malrotation develop symptoms within the first year of life. Intestinal malrotation is most often recognized in infancy, as most infants develop symptoms of acute bowel obstruction within the first week of life. Malrotation is rarely seen in older children, and when it does occur, symptoms may be absent or intermittent.

This is all about ways to MAKE IT work for our kids, homemade, re-purposed, new, used in a new way. The focus is physically challenged and developmentally delayed, and all special needs are welcome if you think you can benefit.
This group is a place to share ideas and tips about making equipment, clothing, food, toys, mechanical, electrical, techy, and other for our special needs children. Somethings can't be easily made and help finding the right item for the right price is appreciated. Also appreciate ideas of how purchased items may be creatively used.

SPECIAL NEEDS SWAP
This group is for special needs parents, families, and individuals. I find it's sometimes difficult to get the things we need, extra medical supplies, equipment, or just the small things that make our everyday easier. So, if you have or are looking for certain items for sale, trade, or to give, post it. Discussions, questions, awareness, awareness items, promotion of essential oils, or any helpful links/websites and groups are all welcomed.
